It's their platform and they have built it from scratch. They have and still investing billions in it. They need to earn the money too right? So what's wrong in it. Fortnite launched in 2017 and after this many year's Epic woke up now? Apple/Google doing this for a long time. Epic made billions through their platform and now they pointed out/made an issue. Even Microsoft and Sony charges the same amount why Epic is silent regarding them?.Apple/Google have tons of servers that they need to keep up and running. They get funded by that 30% revenue share.

The dispute between Apple and Epic Games has been going on for about two weeks now, but this is probably just the beginning of a long legal fight. Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers, who is hearing the case, said today that she is “inclined” not to require Apple to allow Fortnite on the App Store, but also that the decision to terminate Epic’s developer account may be reversed.

Apple on Friday said it suspended Epic Games' developer account. It follows a temporary restraining order on Monday evening, in which a judge ruled that Apple can block Fortnite but not Epic's developer account.
