Even though Apple didn't announce any new iPhones during its September event, the company detailed the heart of the future phones - the Apple A14 chipset. Based on Apple's claims at the announcement we estimated it to have a 17% faster CPU and 8% better GPU than its predecessor and a newly surfaced benchmark shows these numbers are close enough.

An AnTuTu benchmark run on the iPhone 12 Pro Max, reveals 16% higher CPU score and 4% better GPU result. There's however a more pronounced boost in memory speeds - 22%, but overall the performance gains are clearly minor.

It seems like Apple is really doing it. With iOS 14.2 beta 2, which was released today for developers, the company has given us a hint that all these rumors are true, at least for the EarPods.

iOS has a radio frequency exposure disclaimer within the Settings app, which brings some safety warnings for the user on how to use the device and its included accessories.

As noted by MacRumors, iOS 14.2 comes with a new version of this file that mentions only “headphones” instead of “supplied headphones,” suggesting that Apple is about to release a new iPhone that doesn’t come with EarPods.

Yes. No Earpods and Charger brick in the box. Only a new type of braided type-c to lightning cable is included in the box.

Few countries will still get earpods in the box as local law makes it mandatory. I am not sure whether same applies to the charger brick.

Yeah, some countries have laws to make the EarPods mandatory, for privacy on calls. They don't have any such law for charger brick though.
