Good move i would say. It was pretty outdated compared to Play store.
Yeah.. one thing that really annoyed me alot in ios was the app update. Even if you have super fast net, it took ages to update. I have used ios 8.0 to 10.0.
Hope they would have fixed it now.

 
The update sizes on Google Android are based on update package only. While iOS downloads full package and extract it during major upgrades.

Ya.. i know that bro. But downloading is not issue. It used to take much more time in installing it.
