Google’s newly launched Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones are the first ones to run on Android 7.1 Nougat update. The LG V20 , which launched in India just yesterday, is among the first non-Google smartphone to come shipped with Android Nougat. Huawei and OnePlus have started testing their Android Nougat builds on some of their smartphones. HTC has rolled out the new OS for its HTC 10 and One M9 smartphones, whereas Motorola has also started seeding the update to Moto Z and Moto Z Force smartphones. Just yesterday, Sony also announced the update for its flagship smartphone, the Xperia XZ.

Android Lollipop (5.0 and 5.1), now runs on 34 percent of devices, compared to 34.1 percent last month. Android KitKat (v4.4), has finally peaked out with the OS now running on 24 percent devices compared to 25.2 percent in November, and 27.7 percent in September.
