An Indian Air Force transport aircraft has gone missing after taking off from an airbase in Assam. The last contact with the aircraft -- an Antonov An-32 military transport aircraft -- was at around 1pm today. 13 people were onboard the plane, including eight crew members and five passengers.
The Indian Air Force has deployed all available resources, including Sukhoi Su-30 combat fighter jets and C-130 Hercules special operations aircraft, to locate the aircraft.
A team of 13 Air Force personnel along with Isro satellites and Naval P-8I spy planes have been pressed into action to locate the missing AN-32 aircraft.
This is not the first time. Antonov Airplane gone missing in 2016 also, an AN-32 aircraft gone missing with 29 people on board over the Bay of Bengal. That Plane was Never Found.

After 8 days wreckage of Lost AN-32 has been found in Arunachal Pradesh. It was spotted by a Mi-17 helicopter of IAF, at a height of around 12,000 feet. There is no information about 13 personnel who were travelling in this jet.
