Airtel launches 4G in Jaipur & many other parts of Rajasthan

NEW DELHI: India’s largest telecom operator, Bharti Airtel on Wednesday launched its 4G services in Jaipur. The telco will also launch 4G services in Didwana, Fatehpur, Ladnu, Makrana, Tonk, Rajsamand, Nathdwara, Bundi and Dungarpur.
Bharti Mittal-owned company said that it has rolled out its 4G services in Rajasthan using FD LTE technology in the 1800 Mhz band.
The telco is offering free one-time 2GB free 4G data with upgrade to U-SIM. Airtel has also introduced 4G offer for pre-paid customers where they can avail 10 GB 4G data for Rs 265 with every new 4G mobile handset. Under the offer, 1 GB data will be instantly credited to the customer’s account and the additional 9 GB data can be claimed by customers by sending the SMS to the operator.
The company is offering monthly plans for 4G devices start from Rs 450 and advance rental plans starting from Rs 4500.
“We are delighted to extend our 4G presence to the capital city of Jaipur and will offer a superior mobile broadband experience to our customers. Upgrade to Airtel 4G is available at no additional cost, and customers can also choose from a host of economical data plans and get on to the digital superhighway,” said Manoj Murali, CEO – Rajasthan, Bharti Airtel.
“We will continue to invest in and expand our mobile broadband footprint across the state and contribute to the Government’s vision of building a digitally enables Rajasthan,” he added.
Airtel 4G is now available in 27 towns across Rajasthan.
The launch of Airtel 4G in Rajasthan is a part of Project Leap for which the company will invest a sum of Rs 60000 crores over the next three years. Airtel 4G service is now available in 19 circles across India.
