Acer unveils Aspire range of Windows 10 laptops starting at Rs 26,499 in India

Soon after Microsoft’s Windows 10 is out for public, one of its biggest vendors, Acer India, has unveiled its latest range of devices at an event in Mumbai today. The new devices include the Aspire E5-573, the Aspire V Nitro-Black Edition and the Aspire R 13 featuring Acer’s unique Ezel Aero Hinge. The Acer Aspire E5-573 with Windows 10 will be available at price starting at Rs 26,499, the Acer Aspire V Nitro-Black Edition with Windows 10 at Rs 1,10,000 and the Acer Aspire R13 with Windows 10 at Rs 89,999.

Besides, Acer has announced the entire 2015 Windows-powered product lineup even those currently shipping Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 to support the free Windows 10 upgrade for one year.

The all-new Aspire E5-573 notebook will be made available in variety of color options featuring 14-inch and 15.6-inch displays alongside premium looks, style and high performance, claims the company. These devices will come with a textile-pattern on the A-cover and D-cover manufactured through a brand new process, involving 3D scanning of fabric samples.

The new Aspire E5 comes powered with the latest fifth-generation Intel Core processors, up to NVIDIA GeForce 920M series graphics with dedicated DDR3 VRAM, up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB HDD storage options. It is a Skype-certified notebook. The models are said to include the latest TrueHarmony audio technology optimised for use with the new Cortana voice assistant and the BlueLightShield feature will help reduce the amount of blue light emitted from the display.

There’s Acer’s Precision Touchpad Technology to recognise fingertip inputs and the Accidental Contact Mitigation technology ensures there is no accidental contact with the touchpad. The new model will also include the latest Digital MEMS (Micro Electro Mechnical System) Microphone technology pioneered by Acer.

Next in line is the Aspire V Nitro-Black Edition available in 15-inch screen size and sporting a stylish and sophisticated. It comes powered by the latest fourth-generation Intel Core i7 processor that also keeps gamers in mind. It is powered by NVIDIA GeForce GTX960M, offering riveting gaming grade visuals and performance.

Sporting a 4K UHD display with IPS Technology, it is also powered by Acer DustDefender technology. For an enhanced audio experience, one will find Dolby Digital Plus Home Theater with 4 speakers.

Lastly, the Aspire R 13 is sleek with less than 17.95 mm thickness and weighing just over 1.5Kgs. It also incorporates the unique Acer Ezel Aero Hinge that offers both flexibility and stability. A 13.3-inch display is affixed to this special hinge at the sides, allowing the screen to rotate 180-degrees so it can be used in six different ways. The notebook mode offers a precise and spacious keyboard, Ezel mode brings the display closer for better reading and Pad mode lets you use it as a tablet. There’s the tent mode that promises ideal position in case of space constraint and display mode for viewing content along with others.

These Acer devices are launched just in time to address Independence Day buying, says the company. They will be available at select LFR stores across the country and also via online stores.
