Lenovo has taken 18 new AIO PCs including the IdeaCentre A720, B340, B540, C240, C340 and C440 to India, along with their price tags. The company has clearly kept all sorts of consumers in mind with these launches, and potential buyers are looking at shelling out anything upwards from Rs. 22,000 and crossing Rs. 1,15,000 depending on the desktop of choice.

The most expensive of the lot is the IdeaCentre A720, a 27-inch AIO which has a profile measuring 24.5 millimeters, or less than an inch. It leverages the Windows 8 OS’ partiality for seamless HMI and permits users to take advantage of its 10-point multi-touch capability. The screen is hinged on a mechanism which allows users to pull the display towards themselves, slightly similar to the way the Smart Cover supports the iPad for typing in landscape mode, on a flat table.

The PCs in the B series are all about fulfilling home entertainment needs, according to the Chinese manufacturer. They are said to be configurable with CPUs and other hardware that would normally find their way into desktop tower computers. Choices of up to 3rd generation Intel Core i5 processors and Nvidia GeForce graphics are part of the deal, apart from VESA compatibility and an optional TV tuner. The 23-inch B540 and 21.5-ich B340 support multi-touch.

Painted as affordable home PCs, the C440, C340 and C240 are 21.5-inch, 20-inch and 18.5-inch AIOs. The last mentioned leans on an Intel Celeron dual core chip to keep it going, while the first is offered with an HD LED screen, up to 3rd generation Intel Core i5 processor alternatives and support for up to Nvidia GeForce 615 2GB graphics muscle. With the tags attached to these models, space-saving desktops can hardly get more wallet-friendly than this.

The Lenovo IdeaCentre A720, B540 and B340 can be picked up starting at Rs. 1,15,990, Rs. 75,990 and Rs. 34,990, respectively. The C440, C340 and C240 are marked at Rs. 43,990, Rs. 26,990 and Rs. 21,990 and above, in the same order. The names of all 18 releases haven’t been mentioned specifically, but they are said to be up for grabs through the company’s exclusive outlets as well as other major retailers across the country.
