BSNL reduces STV 97 validity and PV 997 data benefits
The revised plans will offer reduced validity with STV 97 and reduced daily data benefit with PV 997 for BSNL customers.
State-owned telecom service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has rationalized STV 97 and PV 997 from 1st August 2022. BSNL Chennai announced the change in its offerings under GSM prepaid mobile services on Twitter.
BSNL’s STV 97, which earlier offered 18 days validity, will now offer revised validity of 15 days. The plan offers unlimited voice calls, unlimited data with speed reduced to 40 Kbps after 2GB/day and Lokhdun.
BSNL’s PV 997, which earlier offered unlimited data with speed reduced to 80 Kbps after 3GB/day, will now offer unlimited data with speed reduced to 80 Kbps after 2GB/day. The plan also provides unlimited Local & STD voice calling, 100 SMS/day to any network, Lokhdun content for 180 days, PRBT for two months, and 180 days validity.
The revised offerings will be available effective today in Chennai Telephones (including TN Circle) under GSM prepaid mobile services.
