Airtel launches unlimited 5G data offer for its customers

Telecom service provider Bharti Airtel launched a new introductory unlimited 5G data offer for its 5G prepaid and postpaid customers. Airtel users with an active data plan of Rs. 239 or above can enjoy 5G data at no additional cost. However, the offer only works when the Airtel user is in a 5G region with a 5G enabled smartphone. The unlimited 5G data offer aims to encourage users to upgrade to the Airtel 5G Plus services.

Eligible Airtel customers can claim the 5G offer through the Airtel Thanks app on Android and iOS. To claim the unlimited 5G data offer, users need to open the Airtel Thanks app and look for the Claim Unlimited 5G Data banner and tap on it. Then, they need to tap the Claim Now button on the next page. Users will receive a confirmation SMS when the offer is activated.

Airtel’s unlimited 5G data offer is a welcome step for its customers who want to experience the next generation of mobile technology without worrying about running out of data or paying extra charges. Airtel has been expanding its 5G Plus services in several regions since its inception. The company is currently offering 5G services in over 270 cities across the country and is expected to cover every town and key rural area by the end of March 2024.
